Pleasantly Surprised By Shapely Figures

So Simply Yours do padded bras up to a H cup – amazing! I had to give them a go…

All I can say is wow! I got the bras in my upper size of 36H and I am glad I did as the band was very very snug! However, once I had wrestled the 3 hooks and eyes closed I felt secure and supported and above all comfortable. The spacious cups encased me completely and I didn’t bulge out or feel like I was about to fall out and I had the most magnificent uplifted effect! The pretty trim gave the bras a girly twist and chocolate brown and baby pink are some much needed colours to slot into my lingerie drawer – let’s be honest, I pretty much have every other colour combo!
So all in all these gorgeous basic bras are a must have, I am so chuffed to have something so supportive in an H cup, Simply Yours, today you have excelled yourselves!

How do you feel the fit and style compare to Ewa Michalak? My previous experience of UK bras in H+ cups is that they come up far too high on the boob, thus peeping out the top of some of my tops which are not especially low cut. I wonder if this bra is any different.

PS Your blog is wonderful :o)

Yes it is quite high and therefore not as useful as some bras but it would still work with lower tops. I do prefer my EM bras but you can never have too many padded bras!
      Thank you xxx

    Hi there. *waves*

I love-love-love your reviews! It’s really great to see how all of those bras and clothes look like in reality. (If you get my meaning)

But: It seems as if the wires sit too low – is that an optical illusion?

      Hey lovely!

I have top heavy boobies and sometimes they do not fall completely into the bra, as seen here as well:

I can be bulging at the top and still not fill the cup fully 😦

They look too big at the bottom and in profile to me- the cups seem too wide. Have you tried easing your boobs all the way down into them?

For the longest time I didn’t know I was wearing a bra that was too large in the bottom of the cup because it was a contour bra and I couldn’t see that part when I was wearing it 😉

In the picture you linked to, the profile pic shows a lot of extra cup at the top, too.

I’ve had it before and down sized but found that I would pop out and double boob so just accepted that my boobs do not always fill the cup fully at the bottom x

I also prefer lightly padded bras and recently found that Debenhams have a good range of bigger cup sizes (I’m a 36HH but sometimes go for a 38G). Some of my favourites are below:

I was really sceptical that they would offer decent support, but I’ve found them just as good as the much more expensive branded bras!

That happens to me too ….. the not filling the bottom of the cup but starting to bulge out the top! ONE day I will find the right size bra!
